Honeymoon Vacations
Experience the Greatest Honeymoon Vacation
I need to plan my honeymoon, but don't know where to start. Any suggestions?
Hi. I'm trying to plan a romantic honeymoon for my future husband and I. Neither of us have done any traveling before, and aren't quite sure where to start looking. I'm looking for an all-inclusive vacation, Resort or Cruise. Something romantic. Do you have any suggestions??
The biggest suggestion I have is go somewhere that you won't feel like you "missed out" if you don't do/see everything in the local area. In other words, admit that you're probably going to spend a lot of time in the hotel room enjoying the inside scenery.
My husband wanted to go to New York City, since he'd never been there before. I nixed that idea since there's so much to see. I was afraid we would either not enjoy each other's indoor company as much or would feel like we missed out on part of the trip. So, we chose to go to Maine. It was summer and we went to a quiet ski resort area. It was great. We spent lots of time walking/driving around enjoying the area, and lots of time indoors as well. It was the perfect place.
Other possible places where you could have the same kind of experience:
Washington State
Colorado Mountains
a beautiful lake somewhere
Hawaii
Have a great time and a fantastic marriage!

We are also planning a honeymoon. We're thinking of going on a cruise. One that is out to sea for a few days. Reason being that I get too excited when I'm at a new place and want to go see everything! So, I thought if we were stuck on a luxurious cruise with few land stops I would actually be able to chill out and be romantic (like a honeymoon is supposed to be…lol) Plus you can find cruises that are away at sea for a few days that still make stops. I hear its really fun to get off the boat and visit different places during the stops.
Good luck deciding!

The most cost effective and romantic honeymoon is a cruise. Book a Princess or Royal Caribbean cruise to an itinerary you've always want to see. Make sure you book a balcony cabin or if you can afford to, a suite is preferable. Lastly, even if you've just gotten married stateside, ask the pursers desk to arrange an onboard wedding ceremony officiated by the captain. It is something neither you nor your new spouse will ever forget. For something truly special–go for the 15 night Hawaii cruise round trip from LA. It is 5 days at sea in each direction and the middle 5 days cruising the islands. Waking up at sunrise in a different port each morning and sipping drinks on your balcony each day at sunset is one experience you'll relive the rest of your life.
Congrats on your upcoming nuptials.

Yo, go to Turkey or Thailand , you can stay at a top top hotel - 5 stars for like 150 bucks a night, Thailand is warm year round and extremely cheap, 8 bucks for a 2 hour massage, you can't beat that. Go to Asia its cheap except for Japan, do something cool not a beach you can do that anytime. Or try out Turkey, Istanbul is like a being in a European City and rest of turkey is like Asia Minor. Loads of sites to see, ancient places, great food and not too expensive. Lots of tours out there.
