Experience the Greatest Honeymoon Vacation
Archive for March, 2009
Hi. I'm trying to plan a romantic honeymoon for my future husband and I. Neither of us have done any traveling before, and aren't quite sure where to start looking. I'm looking for an all-inclusive vacation, Resort or Cruise. Something romantic. Do you have any suggestions??
The biggest suggestion I have is go somewhere that you won't feel like you "missed out" if you don't do/see everything in the local area. In other words, admit that you're probably going to spend a lot of time in the hotel room enjoying the inside scenery.
My husband wanted to go to New York City, since he'd never been there before. I nixed that idea since there's so much to see. I was afraid we would either not enjoy each other's indoor company as much or would feel like we missed out on part of the trip. So, we chose to go to Maine. It was summer and we went to a quiet ski resort area. It was great. We spent lots of time walking/driving around enjoying the area, and lots of time indoors as well. It was the perfect place.
Other possible places where you could have the same kind of experience:
Washington State
Colorado Mountains
a beautiful lake somewhere
Hawaii
Have a great time and a fantastic marriage!

My hubby and I have never been able to afford a honeymoon, and we'd like to go somewhere really beautiful…like an Island…Hawaii, Cancun or the Bahamas?
Hi Pami. You will never get a better holiday than I had in Egypt. 2 weeks, 1 week in 5 star hotels, visiting the sites of historical and constructions surpassing our own 2000 years of architectural brilliance. Then 1 week on a 5 star boat on the river Nile stopping at locations that will eat at your heat, you will see true poverty, modern living and the rich dwellings at first site, It was the most beautiful and romantic holiday I have ever had. Apart from that you can put a tent in the garden and let your imagination run wild. Best wishes where ever you go, Peter
Where should I go on my honeymoon?

I will be leaving on Sept. 14 or 15 from Louisville, KY. I want to take a two week, international vacation for less than $5,000 including air, accommodations and most of the rest. I don't want to go to the Caribbean or Mexico–spending 2 weeks on the beach sounds far too boring. Western Europe is out as well, I've traveled most of Western Europe before and my fiance wants to go somewhere that is new to both of us. I want adventure travel, not deluxe travel. Anything is an option–Peru, Thailand, Morocco, Croatia, etc. Where should I go? Any links to particular trip options or vacation packages will be greatly appreciated.
Repeat: Western Europe is not being considered.
South Africa is amazing!!!! Especially along the Cape (Western Cape/ Garden Route)! Not only is it gorgeous, but there is so much too do! Especially if you're into adventure! The highest bungy jump is there, cage diving with sharks, etc. Not sure of packages from the US, but it should be cheap, as the South African Rand is not very strong!!! Good luck!!!!! Enjoy!
