Honeymoon Heaven
Experience the Greatest Honeymoon Vacation
What island in Hawaii should we go to for our "second honeymoon"
or just a nice peaceful vacation. We’d like things to be able to do, neat things to do and/or see & hopefully nice relaxed people.
Our honeymoon was in Jamaica which we fell in love with–very peaceful, very nice nature and natural, very nice laid back people, a lot of things to do.
Please help me with the Hawaiian people, culture, things to do, where to stay, etc.
I would recommend Maui. It is not as crowded as the other islands, but it still has a lot to do. You can go to the beach, go snorkeling, go shopping, go on a whale watching trip (if you go at the right time), tour a volcano, or do the Road to Hana, which is a beautiful drive through the rainforest. One of the best aspects of the island is that there are really nice resorts like the Grand Wailea and the Royal Lahaina that would be the perfect place to spend a second honeymoon. Hope this helps! Enjoy your trip!
read comments (3)How to organize your European Vacation?
Author: admin
Friends often ask me to plan their European vacations, and more specifically, their vacation in Paris. Why me? Being a native of Paris I have the inside scoop as to cheap hotels, how to get special hotel deals and other cheap vacation tips. I can also tell you about travel weather and other useful information.
The first step consists of determining who exactly is coming on this trip, your destination, the length of the trip, and when do you plan on going. Don’t forget the most important consideration- your budget. Believe me, a European tour with two year old toddlers is not the same as the same as a honeymoon or even a vacation in London with just your partner in life. Actually, traveling with a baby may be easier than traveling with a bored teenager. There are ways to get their cooperation however. Young people of all ages, including my 70 years old parents who enjoy “roughing it”, plan very economical European tours living in youth hotels.
The time of year makes a great deal of difference as well. Summer and mid winter are the peak travel seasons, but those who are looking for resort deals along the Mediterranean shores or for ski resorts in the Alps might consider late spring or early autumn. Here retirees have a distinct advantage planning for travel in Europe, or any kind of travel for that matter, since they can be more flexible.
Talking about time and dates, one of the easiest ways to save money is simply to fly out and return in the middle of the week. Airlines are getting crafty though, and “week-end” can mean Thursday to Monday! That leaves Tuesday and Wednesday as mid-week days.
Still, if you do fly out on one of those days, it can save you a couple hundred dollars.
Alright, so you’ve decided on your budget, the number of people in your party, the length of stay and when you want to go. Here are a couple of scenarios.
First, let’s take a family of four - Mother, Father, 12 year old and 5 year old. This is their first time so they don’t want to be too adventurous, yet they do want to have fun. The safe part of their trip is London, since they speak English. The adventure is Paris where obviously most people speak French. So our family decides to spend a week in London, and a week in Paris during their children’s Spring Vacation which occurs in April, since that’s outside the peak travel time.
Another scenario could be two retired couples who decide to travel to Europe together. They’ve been there before and know their way around a bit. This group decides to fly to Paris, stay for a couple of days to see the sights and look up old friends, and then take a fast train down to the Mediterranean coast. There they’ll stay in Montpelier for a short visit before taking a cruise to the Greek Islands. Whether they opt for a luxury cruise or not, they will have a wonderful time at a very economical rate.
So you see, planning an European vacation is almost as much of a challenge as the vacation itself!

Virgin Islands Top Resort Honeymoons Is Peter Island
Author: admin
The Virgin Islands Top Resort for Honeymoons has to be Peter Island.
Any visitor here would describe Peter Island as one of the very top Caribbean beautiful small island vacations, with just cause too!!
To be on your honeymoon on Peter Island, is just a dream come true, because as well as being a top Caribbean resort, it is probably the most romantic hotel in the Caribbean.
Honeymoons should always be romantic, and whilst it has to be said that what Peter Island is not, is that it could never be described as one of the most romantic affordable honeymoon ideas, because it is definitely not cheap, however it is one of the two most romantic vacations spots for me.
The first being when my husband proposed to me!! ………………
Enough of that, now what about Peter Island as the most romantic hotel in the Caribbean?
This was our first trip to the Caribbean, although we are very familiar with top class resorts, beautiful white sand beaches, and delicious food, but we were not prepared for some of the most beautiful beaches on Peter Island. It really is a top resort in every sense of the word. The sea is so clean and clear, and if you enjoy snorkelling, which we do, then the beaches we tried snorkelling from were excellent. There were plenty of opportunities to indulge on the water as well with hobie cats, sunfish, windsurfing, sailing, sea kayaking.
The best thing about the beaches apart from the sand and the sea was the fact that there were never many people there. We mostly went to Deadman’s Beach which runs from close to our room, past the beach restaurant
The island itself is a tropical paradise, palm trees, lush green vegetation, and VERY private. No streets, no taxis, no shops, no cruise ships, airports, time share salesmen, not even houses. This is a privately owned island, and it will stay that way - pristine, unspoiled paradise, and very very private.
The accommodation is probably understated, but we were lucky indeed to get an upgrade to a beachfront junior suite.
It was quite amazing, beautifully furnished, a huge bathroom with a double Jacuzzi, and shower. The view from this 1st floor suite was unforgettable, and incredibly you could walk out straight onto the beach without using the stairs or the front door.
I did like all the extras in the suite, the robes, flip flops etc, but the best thing to me was the fact that the radio in the room took CD’s and I always take some away with me, so we could listen to our favourites when we were dressing or just relaxing.
Finally the fridge in the suite was well stocked, and the prices remarkably cheap.
I come now to the food, and with it the service, and this is really where Peter Island has rightly established itself as the Virgin Islands top honeymoon resort, because if ever a girl wants to be pampered it is on her honeymoon!!
Well the food at Peter Island is extremely good, and loving my food as I do, this was a foodie paradise. Breakfast, lunches down on the beach, dinners were all delicious, and I can’t remember a bad meal.
The service was mostly superb, the staff went the extra mile many times for us, and were very good at remembering our names, and supplying us with things like snacks when we wanted them even if we had only casually mentioned the subject.
The total highlight for me was the spa. My husband and I both had massages for the first time, and we loved the pool at the spa with the best views.
Peter Island certainly lived up to its reputation as top Caribbean small island vacation, and will always be on my list of most romantic getaways, but as it is not cheap, whilst most romantic it was not my most affordable honeymoon idea - but who cares - I loved it!!

My wife and I just stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Beach Resort for our honeymoon and were very happy with our decision to stay there. Above all, the staff was all courteous and responsive to all of our questions/concerns. They never made us feel uncomfortable. The cleaning staff was friendly and always did a good job. Our bed was very comfortable.
The pool and bar were great places to hang out, but the greatest asset that the hotel has to offer is Renaissance Island. The beach was incredible. White sand and ample coral near the break wall that was great for snorkeling. We saw a lot of incredible wildlife, both in the water and on land. Of note are the pink flamingos, iguanas, and parrot fish.
Also, the people of Aruba were all very courteous. I would recommend renting a car and exploring all that the island has to offer. The Alto Vista Church is one of the most beautiful places that we have ever visited.
We were in Aruba for a week and tried a number of restaurants, but our favourite was the Rumba Bar and Grille. Don’t let the name fool you. This isn’t your typical bar and grille menu. The food, drinks and service were excellent. The only restaurant we visited more than once. It’s located directly behind the Renaissance Marina tower, very easy to walk to. They make a great Caipirinha, very tasty Brazilian drink. One of the cheapest places with the best food is Iguana Joes, located a block from the hotel. They do not assess a service charge like most restaurants in Aruba. The staff is friendly and the drinks are good and priced reasonably. They make good mixed drinks. In all, it was the best dining value on the island. Also, they have $2 soft drinks with free refills. Most other places downtown all charge you for another drink if you want a refill (which is really annoying). This is important after you have been swimming in salt water all day in 90 degree weather.

Hilton Head - A Dream Vacation
Author: admin
Hilton Head, South Carolina is among the most popular destinations for vacationing within the United States. The island was discovered by a British sea captain named William Hilton in 1665. The island was originally developed for indigo plantations, rice and Sea Island cotton. Currently, it is a private resort community of people who have worked hard to preserve and treasure the natural beauty of the land. Located just 95 miles south of Charleston, Hilton Head boasts over 12 miles of beaches along the South Carolina coastline.
More than 2 million people visit the island each year, so there is no shortage of Hilton Head vacation rental accommodations, from the most luxurious ocean front home to the casual condo or simplified economy rental- Hilton Head accommodates everyone.
There are many activities to participate in while staying in your Hilton Head vacation rental, including golf, swimming, bicycling, horseback riding or water sports. It is perfect for a family vacation, a honeymoon, or just a weekend getaway. The temperature of the ocean in the summer averages a very warm 79 degrees, and the climate is mild year round. The white sand of the beaches offers an exotic luxury for vacationers, similar to that experienced in the tropical islands!
Some refer to the island as a foot, due to it’s geographical shape, and even call sections of the by feet names- like ankle, heel, instep and toe. You’ll have a wide variety of accommodations to choose from in the 42 square miles that makes up the area. If golf is more to your liking, Hilton Head is the place for you! There are greater than one million rounds of golf played each year on the island. In fact, golf lovers get a vacation home year after year just so they can participate in the sport at some of the 36 courses throughout the island. Regardless of where you find your rental home or condo, you’re likely to be within a short distance to one of the beautiful golf courses. In addition to standard golf, you can also enjoy indoor and outdoor miniature golf courses for entertainment.
Tennis and bicycling are two other favorite past times for both residents of the island and people staying in the various Hilton Head vacation rental, home or condos for vacations. There are more tennis courts than any other resort of the same size in America. Thanks to tightly packed sand and glorious paths and trails, bicycling all over the island, Oceanside to the forests; it’s a pleasure! Even the most particular tastes can find delectable cuisines when staying at their vacation home. There are more than 100 unique restaurants and eateries throughout the Island, so you can enjoy a wide range of flavors throughout your vacation. The ocean offers many opportunities for excitement and recreation. Charter a boat and go fishing, or on a dolphin seeing tour. Enjoy water skiing, parasailing, or kayaking. The warm temperature of the water on the island makes all water sports enjoyable throughout the summer season. Enjoy a Hilton Head vacation rental on the water’s edge for maximum ocean exposure!
Getting to Hilton Head Island is easy, thanks to the ability to access the island by land or air. There are a total of two airports, the Hilton Head Airport is located just five miles from the resorts of the island and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is about 45 miles south. Driving into the island resort is as easy as driving 20 minutes from I-95, at Exit 8.

Choosing Your Honeymoon Location
Author: admin
After you have planned your wedding, it is time for you to give your full attention to the post-wedding celebration for both of you. Think of this: “Honeymoon is the period where you can enjoy each other as newlyweds and it is rightful to make it extra special.”
If choosing where to spend your honeymoon becomes a problem to both of you, then consider the questions below:
What do you want experience?
Among all the other concern in choosing your honeymoon location, this question is the most important for it will narrow down your possible places you can go. Here are the questions that would give you additional help: Do you like to experience the sun? Do you want to see beaches? Do you like nature experience? Do you want a honeymoon with full of entertainment? Do you want an adventure honeymoon? Do you want to spend your honeymoon with winter activities?
If you have answered, “yes” to one of these questions, then you have led yourself to the next question.
Where do you want to go?
If you happen to choose beaches over everything else, you might consider going to Hawaii, Caribbean or Fiji. If you happen to prefer entertainment, then Las Vegas is the place to be. Knowing where to go would keep your list of possible destination shorter.
What amenities would you like to have?
In one location, there are several hotels or resorts where you can possibly stay. And each has different amenities and services to offer. Identifying what do you want to have is very important before setting an exact location for your honeymoon. Make research on the different amenities and services each hotel or resort offers. If everything you need is on two or more hotels or resorts, then answer the last question.
How much do you have to spend?
Having identified everything, making sure that you have an enough budget to finance your honeymoon is very important. If you have identified 2 or more hotels, then choosing the best (with respect to your budget) is your next priority. Make sure you have enough money to spend on your chosen hotel or resort.
One more thing: the question of “when do you want to go?” would help you set your budget since the price of one resort defers from one season to another. Make sure you check on this if you want to get some savings.
After all these, you can now book for your Honeymoon Vacation.

My fiance and I are getting married next year and are planning to go to Hawaii on our honeymoon. We live in St. Charles/St. Peters, MO and are looking for an awesome travel agent with experience of helping plan romantic Hawaii vacations. If anyone has any opinions/ideas of what travel agent to use, we'd be pleased to here your response. Thank you!!!!
Don't bother wasting time with a travel agent, it's just extra fees for stuff you can find online for WAY cheaper! I used to use an agent & for awhile they did have some good deals, but not anymore. prices are lower everywhere now that travel has slowed, so your best bet is to go through a broker - similar to agents in buying power but without the fees!
Check out this site they have everything you need from 5 star hotels at 2 star prices, Fun Passes for each island and even free airfare passes. Aloha!
